Willow Fields, Warrington is a flagship development for Castle Green Homes as it expands from its North Wales heartland into the North West of England. The 145-home scheme is part of Omega, the region’s largest mixed-use development.

Historically, the 775-acres being redeveloped as Omega was land associated with RAF Burtonwood, which was used as a base during World War II. Parts of the site have been developed for manufacturing and logistics. The masterplan allows for 1,400 homes, with much of this land sold to national housebuilders.

Castle Green Land’s acquisition of 4.9 hectares signalled the start of a major push into England as part of an ambitious growth plan for Castle Green Homes.

Castle Green Homes began work to bring the land back into good use in June 2021 and released the first homes for sale off plan the following month.

Show homes opened in January 2022 and the first residents were welcomed to their homes in March. By October 2022, just one of the private sale homes was still available.

Willow Fields delivers 12 house types, including a choice of two-bedroom terraced homes and three and four-bedroom detached styles. The product range and mix of tenures – the development includes 29 affordable homes – supports the creation of a balanced and inclusive community.
